This Month's Guest: Lucille Ball's Former Publicist/Author-Historian TOM WATSON
Kicking off the 20th year of the series, we welcome back Lucy's former publicist with open arms as we celebrate
Lucy in the 1980s - which includes her sitcom "Life With Lucy", her TV movie "Stone Pillow", her induction into
the TV Academy Hall of Fame, her Kennedy Center award, plus her appearances on lots of talk and game shows. It
was also the start of annual "I Love Lucy" marathons that were celebrated on Los Angeles TV every weekend closest
to her August 6 birthday, with each one being a ratings powerhouse. The 1980s was when your genial (but aging) host
and Tom were in her employ, so expect a lot of personal stories and memories. This will be a program no Lucy fan will
want to miss...and we'll read your e-mails too!

CURRENT SHOW: #459
Jeanine has a real treat: A visit with an old friend - actor/radio personality/author
BOB LESZCZAK returns to discuss his new book - "The Answer Is...A Guide to the Lost Art of
the Answer Record", a reference to original songs on 45s that were "answered" with sub-
sequent releases by other artists (for the most part). For example, "This Diamond Ring"
by Gary Lewis was answered by Wendy Hill with "Gary, Please Don't Sell My Diamond Ring".
You get the idea? Other artists include Lesley Gore, Frankie Lymon, Mary Wells, Paul
Anka, The Shirelles, Elvis Presley, James Brown, and many, many more in this extended
program!
